Theatre troupe Prangone Mor has been invited to stage their production “Eersha” at four international theatre festivals which will take place in India this month.
The troupe will stage the play at Nandikar’s 31st National Theatre Festival at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kolkata on December 19, at Desh Bidesher Natya Mela in Murshidabad on December 20, at Karimpur Natya Mela in Nadia on December 22, and at Rangapeet Natya Utsab in Shantipur on December 24.
Written by Syed Shamsul Haq, the verse-drama is directed by Ananta Hira.
The distinctive play features only seven dialouges and three characters. Nuna Afroz, Ramij Raju and Ananta Hira portray the characters.
Before the tour in India, the troupe will perform a technical show at the Experimental Theatre Hall in Bangladesh Shilapakala Academy on Saturday at 6:30pm.
