Journalist Nadeem Qadir has joined foreign ministry office in Dhaka on Wednesday as a Press Minister of Bangladesh High Commission in London, United Kingdom.
Nadeem told this to the Dhaka Tribune over telephone. He, however, could not confirm when he will join in London office.
The government on Tuesday made him press minister for two years.
Nadeem is the eldest son of Lt Col Abdul Qadir who was brutally killed by Pakistani army for supporting the freedom fighters with money and arms.
He worked at several national and international media in vital posts.
