A concert titled Japanese Music Concert featuring artists Aki and Kuniko starts from tomorrow at 6:30pm at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy. On December 12, the concert will be held at the auditorium of Bangladesh National Museum at the same time.
Hiroaki Sasaki on acoustic guitar and Kuniko Obina on 13-string koto (Japanese sitar), popularly known as Aki and Kuniko, skilfully blends the notes from their two unmatched string instruments, seamlessly going from forceful to delicate. Aki and Kuniko performed around the globe, from South East Asia, Central America to Europe and taken the audience to a different musical world. Music critics highly acclaimed that they create a surprising and innovative musical partnership and have original, genre defying work.
Organised by Embassy of Japan and Japan Foundation the two-day long concert is free for all.
