Body of a 45-year-old man has been recovered at Kittaniya village under Kapasia police station in Gazipur.
The deceased was identified as Tamiz Uddin, son of Abdul Jabbar of the same village.
Sub-inspector Manjur Doha of Kapasia police said Tamiz Uddin, who was a bicycle-rickshaw repairer, was missing from Sunday night.
On Monday morning, locals found his body in the Vuiyar Tek area of the village and informed the police.
Police later recovered the body around 11am and sent it to Gazipur sadar hospital morgue for autopsy, the police official said.
No mark of injuries were apparent in the body of the deceased, the SI added.
