Three female students of Rajshahi College have been killed in a head-on collision between two buses at Katakhali of Rajshahi.
The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
At least 30 people of both the buses were injured in the accident. They were admitted to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital.
AKM Nahiduzzaman, deputy commissioner of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police, told the Dhaka Tribune that a bus carrying the students of Rajshahi College collided head-on with another bus at Katakhali around 12:30pm, leaving three female students dead on the spot.
