The digital audio album of upcoming thriller movie “Zero Degree”, directed by Animesh Aich, was launched at a hotel in the capital on December 4.
Subscribers of mobilephone operator ‘Robi’ can listen to the songs by dialling at 28777 on their phones. The album contains six tracks.
Sharing his experience in making the film, producer and actor Mahfuz Ahmed said: “It is in no way a television drama; fairly, we have given out our best to make it a total movie.”
Talking to journalists at the album launching ceremony, actress Jaya Ahsan, who played the lead female role in the film, said: “This film is not something like so called ‘formula movie’, which we have seen in recent days in our country. It is, indeed, something out of the box.”
“As an actress, I feel I have done really something that I never did before in my life,” she said.
Music composer Prince Mahmud, singers Samina Chowdhury and Nancy, among others, were present on the occasion.
Rock star James gave his voice in the title number “prem o ghrina” [love and hate] penned, tuned and composed by Prince Mahmud.
In his first big screen production, director Animesh also wrote two songs.
Nancy, Samina, Audit, Probor Ripon, Prithwi Raj and Swandhi, gave voices to the other songs.
Music director Emon Saha has done the background score of the movie.
