A fire has broken out at a market in Babubazar area in the old part of the capital Dhaka.
The fire broke out at Riad market adjacent to Mitford Hospital around 2pm on Monday.
Md Ataur Rahman, fire service control room duty officer, said: “Five units of the fire service have been trying to douse the blaze.”
The reason behind the fire could not be known immediately, he said.
