A case has been filed in connection with the death of journalist Zaglul Ahmed Chowdhury in a road accident in the city's Kawran Bazar.
Navid Ahmed Chowdhury, son of the veteran journalist, filed a case with Kalabagan police station, BSS reported.
Officer-in-charge Iqbal Ahmed of the police station said police were trying to trace the killer bus and its driver.
Asked about efforts to seize the killer bus, he said: "I am personally looking after the matter and already held talks with three traffic policemen and two civilians witnessed the tragic road accident to trace out the killer bus.
But, unfortunately none of them could identify the bus as they only witnessed the journalist get down."
Zaglul Ahmed Chowdhury was killed in a road accident in the capital’s Karwan Bazar area on Saturday night. His body has been kept at the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) mortuary.
His funeral will be held tomorrow after his daughter Antara Ahmed Chowdhury returns from the US, family sources said.
