A new committee of the Bogra Bar Association has been elected for 2015 on Friday.
In the election, Sammilita Ainjeebee Samanyaya Parishad, the panel supporting the ruling mega alliance, secured six posts, including vital ones of president and secretary.
While the panel supporting the anti-government parties, Jatiyatabadee Ainjeebee Oikya, has got seven posts in the election of total thirteen posts.
In the 13 posts, 26 candidates ran in the election, one from each panel for a post.
Rezaul Karim Mantu, was elected as the president and Makbul Hossain Mukul general secretary.
Tanzim Al Misbah, of the same panel, won the election vying for the social welfare secretary defeating the opponent by 60 votes, in an election where 622 out of 641 members voted.
The previous committee led by Abdul Matin and Naresh Mukharjee has congratulated the new committee.
The voting took place in the Gawhar Ali Building in the Bogra Bar.
