President Md Abdul Hamid will pay a four-day visit to India from December 18.
Foreign Minister A H Mahmood Ali told a press conference at his ministry on Saturday, reports BSS.
The president will visit New Delhi from December 18 to December 21 at the invitation of Indian President Pranab Mukherjee, the minister said.
The ministry organized the press conference to brief journalists on the outcome of Bangladesh's participation in the recently concluded 18th SAARC Summit in Nepal.
Earlier on May last, the Indian President Narendra Modi sent an official letter to Bangladesh's president inviting him to visit India.
This would be the maiden visit of President Hamid to India after assuming office about two years back.
