Eva Mendes is notoriously private when it comes to her relationship with Hollywood heartthrob Ryan Gosling. And all that was stepped up a notch when the couple welcomed their daughter Esmeralda into the world in September. Now, the “Hitch” actress has opened up about becoming a mum and why she wants her little girl brought up away from the spotlight.
Talking to digital magazine Violet Grey in her first photoshoot since giving birth the 40-year-old star said: “I’m completely exhausted. I thought my wild nights were over but these are some of the wildest nights I’ve ever had.”
The stunning brunette went on to say how she and all round hunk Ryan made a conscious decision to keep her bump away from prying eyes. Eva said: “Whether we like it or not, privacy is going to be very difficult for Esmeralda. I think it’s unfair but that’s our reality. So Ryan and I decided early on to give her as much privacy as we could. And my pregnancy was the first opportunity to give her that.”
“So I made a decision to eject myself from it completely. I was like, ‘Annnnd I’m out,’” she reasoned.
