A week-long art exhibition titled “Dealing with Spaces: art intervention in architecture” is taking place at the Dhaka Art Centre in the capital’s Dhanmondi area. Organised by the students of architecture at University of Asia Pacific, the exhibit will run until Saturday.
At the exhibition, the installations on display are the result of first-year studio projects at the university on redefining existing spaces, putting focus on the idea of space and changing the empty galleries into art statements that are devoid of any external art elements.
Professor Dr Jamilur Reza Choudhury, vice-chancellor of the university, and Dean ProfessorShamsul Wares attended inaugural ceremony of the show on Sunday.
