At least 25 persons have been injured in a head-on collision between two passenger buses in Sreepur area on Nabinagar-Kaliakoir highway.
The injured were admitted to different local hospitals. Of them, a woman was admitted to Enam Medical College and Hospital in critical condition.
Officer-in-Charge Sheikh Badrul Alam of Ashulia police station said a Nabinagar-bound bus collided head-on with a Rangpur-bound bus around 3:45pm, leaving 25 passengers of both the buses injured.
The accident-ridden vehicles have been removed from the highway, said the OC.
