Three people have been killed in a head-on collision between a passenger bus and a three-wheeler at Vulli area under the sadar upazila in Thakurgaon.
Three others have also been injured in the accident.
The deceased are Juran Ali, 25, Montu, 35, and Habib, 32, hailed from Laithuti village under the upazila.
Quoting the locals, Thakurgaon sadar police station Sub-Inspector (SI) Babul Hossain said: “The passenger bus collided with the three-wheeler around 7am, leaving six of the three-wheeler’s passenger critically injured.”
“Among the injured, the three died while undergoing treatment at the Thakurgoan sadar hospital,” added the SI.
