Primary, Ebtedayee Terminal exams begin Sunday

Primary and Ebtedayee Terminal examinations-2014 will begin across the country on Sunday.

This year nearly 31 lakh examinees will appear in the examinations for class V students of general and madrasah education, reports BSS.

A total of 27,88,544 students will attend the Primary Terminal Examinations this year. Of them, 12,82,079 are boys and 15,06,465 are girls.

As many as 3,05,721 examinees will participate in the Ebtedayee examinations. Of the total examinees, 1,57,448 are boys and 1,48,273 are girls.

The examinations will be held at 6,791 centres, of which 11 are overseas.

Physically challenged students will get additional 20 minutes in the examinations.

According to the examination schedules, the English exams under Primary and Ebtedayee education will be held from 11am to 1:30pm on November 23, while Bangla exams under Primary and Ebtedayee will be held from 11am to 1:30pm on November 24.

Other exam schedules are - Bangladesh O Biswa Porichoy under Primary education will be held from 11am to 1:30 pm on November 25, Paribesh Parichiti Samaj under Ebtedayee education from 11am to 1:30pm on November 25, Prathomik Biggan under Primary education from 11am to 1:30 pm on November 26, Arabic under Ebtedayee from 11am to 1:30pm on November 26, Dharmo and Noitik Shikkha under primary education from 11am to 1:30pm on November 27 and Quran O Tajbeed and Aqaeed O Fiqah from 11am to 1:30pm on November 27.

Mathematics examinations under Primary and Ebtedayee education will be held from 11am to 1:30pm on November 30.
