Two more medical universities will be established in the country for providing more healthcare services to the people, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said.
The premier made the announcement while addressing in an inaugural function of outdoor complex of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) in the capital on Saturday.
One of the two universities will be built at Chittagong, the southern part of Bangladesh and another at Rajshahi, the country’s northern part, Sheikh Hasina said.
She called up the doctors to carry out their duties well for a healthy nation.
