Sajeeb Ahmed Wazed Joy and Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury have been appointed as advisers to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
According to a gazette notification of the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), Sajeeb Wazed Joy, son of Sheikh Hasina, has been made PM’s information and communication technology affairs adviser.
While discharging his duties, Joy would work as per the directives and advice of PM, according to the gazette notification dated November 17. The appointment of Joy is a part-time one and carries no salary. Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury has been made the PM’s media adviser and his appointment is also without salary and a part-time one.
While discharging his duties, Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury will take seat with persons having status equivalent to that of ministers.
