A college student has been killed in a road accident in Karimganj upazila of the district.
The deceased is Burhan Uddin, 18, first year student of Karimganj Model College and son of Md Abdus Sattar of Nansri village.
Abul Hussain, officer-in-charge (investigation) of Karimganj police station, said a speedy tractor ran Burhan over in front of Karimganj Subhania Fazil Madrasa around 1:30pm on Thursday, leaving critically injured.
Locals rushed him to Kishoreganj model sadar hospital where he succumbed to his injuries around 2pm.
