A mobile court has fined four medicine shops for selling plastic bags at Riazuddin Bazar area in Chittagong city on Monday.
The drive was conducted from 3pm to 9pm led by executive magistrate also assistant commissioner Abdullah Al Moonsur.
Executive Magistrate Rakibul Hasan endorsed the information to the Dhaka Tribune.
Huge number of plastic bags found in the four shops. The shops were fined with Tk1, 40,000 in total, he said.
In the drive, Rab members along with officials of district administration took part along with the mobile court.
