Theatre Punyabhumi is going to stage “Mohua” at the Experimental Theatre Hall of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy at 7pm today.
Written by Dwij Kanai and directed by Julfikar Hussain Sohag, the play is based on Moimonshingho Gitika, a collection of folk ballads from the region of Mymensingh.
However, the troupe has redesigned the play to stage as their fifth production.
Julfikar Hussain Sohag, Durjoy Anowar, Sohag Ashrafi, Hridoy Babu, Projapati Sarkar, Fatema Begum will be seen playing the major roles.
