Sajeeb Wazed Joy, son of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, has called upon the young generation to assist the development works of the country.
The IT adviser of the PM made the call while addressing the inaugural ceremony of -Young Bangla- a platform to involve the young generation with the development works of Bangladesh.
Centre for Research and Information (CRI) organised the programme at the capital's Radisson Hotel on Saturday.
Nahim Razzaq MP has been made the convener of the platform which has been sponsored by the leading corporate houses.
Joy said: “The young people should be involved in the development process as they are the future of the country.”
While addressing the members of the newly launched platform, he further said: “The main aim of the platform should be creating new job opportunities for the youths. In order to reach our goal, the government is introducing a number of intern-ship programs under different ministries.”
“The main object of those programs are to create skilled manpower.”
