The shooting of the second season of “Ujan Ganger Naiya” started this week in Cox’s Bazar. This year, the show aims to reach a wider audience than the 30 million viewers from the inaugural season.
The story of the second season is set in a coastal village and will depict a dramatic family lives in a fishing community effected by crime, love and the daily struggles. It will start airing on BTV early next year.
The cast of the drama includes Orchita Sporshia, Riaz, Farhana Mili, Tariq Anam Khan, Shatabdi Wadud, Lutfor Rahman George, Titash Zia and many others. Bashar Georgis is directing the second season, and Rafikul Islam Poltu and Shubhashish Sinha has written it. Himesh Kar and Charlotte Imbert are the executive producers of the drama series.
Charlotte Imbert, also the country director of BBC Media Action, Bangladesh, said: “This promises to be an incredible story.
