At least 10 persons have been injured in a head-on collision between a passenger bus and a covered van in Bathuli area on Dhaka-Aricha highway.
Vehicular movement on the highway was halted for about one and a half hour because of the road accident on Tuesday morning.
Witnesses said a Khulna-bound bus collided head-on with a covered van near a bridge in Bathuli area around 6:30am, leaving 10 people injured.
The injured were admitted to a local hospital.
Golra highway police station Officer-in-Charge Mizanul Haque said transport movement became normal after the accident-ridden vehicles were removed from the highway.
