Bangladesh has opened its first-ever resident diplomatic mission in Vienna, the capital city of Austria.
With the setting up the new embassy, the existing bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Austria will accelerate further, reports BSS.
The Embassy of Bangladesh will now function from its temporary location (Hotel Park Inn by Radisson [Room No. 87], Wagramerstrasse 16-18 A-1220, Vienna, Austria) for next two months and would thereafter move to a permanent location.
With the opening of the new mission in Vienna, the total number of Bangladesh's diplomatic missions has now stood at 71 in 57 countries across the globe.
The members of Bangladesh Diaspora in Austria have been requested to avail the consular and other relevant services including welfare issues to be rendered by the Embassy of Bangladesh in Vienna.
In this context, both the countries expressed their optimism that the resident diplomatic mission of Bangladesh opened in Vienna would undoubtedly further accelerate the process of bolstering and deepening the existing bilateral relations for the mutual benefit of the people of the two countries in the days ahead.
