The body of a patient has been recovered form a rehabilitation centre situated in Chittagong's Halishahar area.
The deceased, Mizan Uddin Munna, was a drug abuser who was admitted to Chhayaneer Rehabilitation Centre by his family members.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Chittagong Metropolitan Police Tanvir Arafat said the hospital authorities informed police after finding Munna lying dead on his bed on Friday morning.
Police recovered the body around 11:30am that bore several marks of injuries, said the ADC.
A case was filed in this regard, he added.
