Quzi Nawshaba Ahmed has again been paired up with Mosharraf Karim in a single episode drama titled “Ek No Khati Premer Golpo.”
Written and directed by Asad Rahman, the drama’s shooting was recently wrapped up in Uttara. As the title suggests, the drama a quintessential love-story. Two people of opposite characters fall in love, and overcoming social barriers and dire situations, stay together.
About acting with Mosharraf Karim, Nawshaba said “Mosharraf Karim possesses a distinct feature of making his co-artists very comfortable. I cannot but wonder how helpful Mosharraf Karim has been despite him being such a high profile actor.”
“I have learnt many acting do’s and don’ts from him, and I will definitely be happy to work with him in future,” she added.
The drama, produced by Parban Telemedia, will be aired next Velentines Day.
Meanwhile, Nawshaba and Mosharraf Karim duo’s first tv serial titled “Ashiteche Duti Mon Duti Asha,” directed by Kochi Khandakar, will be aired shortly on a television channel.
In the serial, Nawshaba will appear as a female political leader. About the drama, she said: “It seems that after many days I have worked in a drama which had a well-written script.”
Nawshaba also recently wrapped up shooting for a Brac Bank commercial directed by Wahid Tarek. About how she choses the brands she represents, she said: “I only choose those brands which do not demoralise people, and the commercial should have some scope of acting too.”
Nawshaba has recently landed her first major role in celluloid, having appeared in minor roles in three films previously. The film – Pratiruddho – will also star newcomer Amit Sinha, will start shooting in December. Nawshaba is also playing a tv-serial titled “Come to the Point” which is currently being aired on SATV.
