Actress Nusrat Imroz Tisha has undergone a successful appendicitis surgery at the Square Hospitals in the capital after she was admitted there with abdominal pain on Monday.
A source close to the actress’s director-husband Mostafa Sarwar Farooki said that Tisha is in a better condition now and will be discharged from hospital tomorrow.
Farooki, in a Facebook post accompanied by a picture of Tisha on hospital bed rest, wrote: “This person confined to the bed used to take my sick family members to hospital and take care of them and give them courage. But this time, I am the one taking her to hospital. Such a feeling of helplessness cannot be expressed. It’s not a big deal though, a minor appendicitis complication, but the experience was unusual.”
