A motorcyclist has been killed and two others were injured after collided head-on with a pick up van and motorcycle near Chandi area of Delduar upaizla in Tangail on at Tuesday afternoon.
The deceased could not be identified immediately.
Officer-in-Charge of Delduar police station Chan Miah said: “The accident took place when a Tangail bound motorcycle collided head on with a pickup van in the area leaving three injured.”
“The injured were rushed to Tangail Medical College Hospital immediately where on duty doctor declared the motorcycle driver dead,” he added.
Police seized the pickup van but the driver managed to flee the scene, the OC said.
