At least 20 leaders and activists of Jubo League have sustained injuries, one by bullet, in a fractional clash in Savar.
Russlle, 32, supporter of JL leader Selim Mandol, received bullet in his leg.
Witnesses said the supporters of Jubo League leader Sohel Rana locked into a clash with the supporters of another Jubo League leader Selim Mandol around 10am over Jhut business (garment leftover).
Of the injured, five have been admitted at Enam Medical College Hospital, said police.
Assistant Police Super Shafiqul Islam said: “Being informed, the police rushed in and brought the situation under control. Additional forces have been deployed in the area to maintain the law and order situation.”
