Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammad Nasim has said those who filed writ petitions over Ebola issue, are doing it for their own publicity.
The minister made the statement in an inaugurating ceremony of a high-rise building of Bangladesh Association of Pharmaceutical Industries (BAPI) at the capital’s Link road area on Thursday.
Nasim said: “The health ministry has already taken proactive measures to prevent Ebola infection as per the directives of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.”
He said: “The health secretary will inform the High Court regarding the steps taken to prevent Ebola infection.”
He also directed the BAPI authorities to provide medicines at a cheaper cost to the general people.
BAPI President Salman F Rahman, Secretary General Abdul Muktadir were also present among others in the ceremony.
