A three-member probe body, headed by additional district magistrate Mohammad Ali of Natore, has been formed to look into the fatal road accident.
Natore Deputy Commissioner Mashiur Rahman endorsed the information to the Dhaka Tribune.
Two other members are assistant police super of Natore (Circle) and the assistant director of Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA), the DC said.
The committee was asked to place with the probe report within three working days, he added.
At least 22 peoples were killed after two passenger buses collided head-on at Rajapur intersection under Boraigram upazila of Natore on Monday afternoon.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader expressed profound shock at the losses of lives in the road accident.
Also directed authorities concerned to take necessary measures to ensure proper treatment of the injured.
