Bangladesh High Commissioner to India, Syed Moazzem Hossain, has been given all the honours and privileges of a junior minister.
A notice issued by Cabinet Division said this on Monday.
Cabinet Secretary M Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan has signed the notice.
The decision was taken under the ministers, minister of state and deputy minister (remuneration and privileges) act 1973, the notice reads.
Bangladesh High Commissioner to US, Zia Uddin, enjoys the same privileges as well.
