A motorcycle rider has been killed and his daughter critically injured in a head-on collision with a motorbike and a truck at Tiger pass area in Chittagong on Monday afternoon.
The deceased is Md Azgar Ali, son of late Md Ali, a resident of Suparipara of Double Mooring area in the district.
His daughter Anni, 17, was admitted to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH).
Quoting witnesses and injured, Nayek Jahangir Alam of CMCH police outpost said: “A truck of Chittagong City Corporation collided head-on with the motorbike carrying the duo at around 3:30pm at the middle of Tiger pass and Lalkhan Bazar area, leaving them critically injured.”
Locals rushed them to CMCH where the on duty doctors declared Azgar dead, he added.
