Journalist Al-Amin, News Editor of 'thereport24.com', has died of cardiac arrest on Monday morning. He was 46.
Family sources said Al-Amin breathed his last around 5am in city’s Ibrahim Cardiac Hospital & Research Institute.
He was on a life support at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital since Thursday as he felt severe chest pain.
Rangpur Bivag Shangbadik Shomiti (Rangpur division journalists' association) and North Bengal Journalist Forum also expressed deep shock at journalist Al-Amin's death.
Al-Amin served as Joint News Editor of Daily Sun and International page in-charge at the Daily Star.
Al-Amin was born on 2nd June in 1968 in Gaibandha. He completed his Master's in International Relations from Dhaka University.
