A mobile court has disconnected illegal gas connections to 850 houses at Rajabari union under Sreepur upazila of Gazipur city.
Executive Magistrate Afroza Aktar Riba led the court in the drive.
Titas engineer Saber Ahmed Chowdhury, who was also in the drive said the drive was conducted in Rajabari Bazar, Karunpara and Gazaria villages.
"Getting the news of the drive, the illegal gas users fled from their houses," he added.
