Customs intelligence have arrested one person along with 64 gold bars weighing 7.5 kilograms at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
The detainee is Abdul Latif, 37, of Satkania in Chittagong.
Director General Mainul Khan of customs intelligence said: "We arrested Latif with 64 gold bars concealed in three cartons of Benson brand cigarette from the airport around 8.30am."
The gold bars are worth about Tk3.75 crore, he added.
Latif arrived at Shahjalal airport by a Dubai flight.
