Nirabharan Theatre has arranged a six-day theatre festival titled “Sarat Sheeter Sondhi Sanje, Nirabharan Shakh Bajey” which will begin today at 6:30pm in the Experimental Theatre Hall of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA).
This is the second phase of Nirabhoron's eighth founding anniversary celebrations. “Samanta Nothi” is to be staged today.
Mahakal Natya Sampradaya will also stage a protesting dance piece “Jago” on the inaugural day.
On the other hand, the troupe will stage “Nishimon Bisharjan” an adaptation of Tagore's Bisharjan tomorrow while Bunon Theatre will stage “Nakshi Kanthar Math” on October 20.
With the theme “Sarat Sheeter Sondhi Sanje, Nirabharan Shakh Bajey,” the first phase of the festival was held at the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy from October 11 to13.
