Brac University professor Piash Karim has been laid to eternal rest at Banani Graveyard in the city.
Piash Karim was buried around 3pm after two namaz-e-janazas.
The second janaza of Brac University professor Piash Karim was held at Baitul Mukarram Mosque after the Jumma prayers.
Piash Karim's first janaza was held at Baitul Aman mosque beside his residence in the capital's Dhanmondi.
Earlier in the morning, Piash Karim's body was taken to his Dhanmondi residence from Square Hospital's mortuary.
Piash Karim's body was kept in front of his residence where politicians, academicians and general people paid homage to the recently deceased professor.
He will be buried at Banani Graveyard.
On October 13, Brac University Professor Piash Karim died of cardiac arrest at Square Hospital in the capital.
