Detective Branch (DB) of police, in a drive, have arrested a person from Tangail for his alleged involvement in the killing of Md Nasir Hossain.
The arrestee is Shorif alias Chokha.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Deputy Commissioner (Media) Masudur Rahman said: “Shorif was arrested from Tangail on Tuesday afternoon.”
However, he did not disclose detailed information regarding the arrest.
On Saturday, Nasir was hacked and beaten to death allegedly by the stalkers of his sister in the capital's Bhasantek area.
