Director Tanvir Mokammel from Bangladesh has been invited to inaugurate the 12th International Short Fiction Film Festival to be held in Kolkata from November 1 and 6.
The Goethe Institute in Kolkata and Kalpanirjhar, an audiovisual media platform, are jointly organising the event which will take place at the Goethe Institute auditorium and feature 36 short films from 14 countries.
Internationally-acclaimed Indian director Gautam Ghose is the chairman of this year’s episode of the festival.
