A human chain has been formed in Khulna town, demanding adequate representation of people with disabilities in all spheres of social and professional life.
Jatiya Pratibandhee Oikya Parishad and Pratibandhee Nagarik Parishad organised the human chain in front of Khulna Press Club on Monday afternoon.
Among others, Mollah Abdul Malek, Masum Khalifa, Dr Kabir Hossain, Nur Mohammad, SM Ikrul Islam, Iftekhar Mahmud, Md Mizanur Rahman, Kazi Asgar Ali and Nur Mohammad Hawlader spoke at the human chain.
The speakers opined that inclusion of disability issues in the mainstream policy and development practice is a must for the overall progress of the country.
