Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal is set to hold a meeting on law and order situation with the government high officials at the circute house of Thakurgaon on Saturday afternoon.
The meeting is scheduled to be held after his visit to local museum and childrens' hospital at 11am.
Later, he will hold another meeting with the representatives of district Ansar and VDP at 3pm.
Earlier on Friday night, Eco-Social Development Organization (ESDO), a private organisation, arranged a reception for the minister and his family members.
The reception programme was held around 10pm. Among others, top government officials, local representatives and civil society members were present in the programme.
The minister and his wife Lutful Tahmina Khan were honoured with crests.
