Four cattle traders of Tangail fell victims to dope gang members and were robbed of Tk6 lakh from a Gulistan-bound bus coming from Narayanganj, BSS reported.
The victims are Shahjahan Mia, 45, Arif Hossain, 25, Md Babu, 30 and Ananda, 30. They are now undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
Dope gang members made them unconscious with sedatives and looted Tk6 lakh while they were going to Gulistan by the bus after selling their cattle, police and their colleagues said.
Fellow traders rushed them to DHCM. From Gulistan, they were supposed to go to Gabtali for going to their village home in Tangail.
