Six persons have been killed and four others injured as a bus rammed into a tempo in Bagherkanda Bypass intersection of the district town.
Of the deceased, three have been identified as Nasir Uddin, 40, Parvin Akter, 22, and Sharmin Akter,19.
Kotwali model police station Officer-in-Charge Fazlul Karim said a Mymensingh-bound bus rammed into a tempo around 12pm, leaving one dead and eight injured on the spot.
The injured were rushed to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital where on duty doctor declared five others dead.
