A woman and her twin sons have been killed as a microbus fell into a roadside ditch after its driver lost control over its steering at Ujanishar area under the sadar upazila of Brahmanbaria.
The deceased are Rubina Akter, 25, and her 7-year-old twin sons Shourav and Nirob.
Brahmanbaria sadar police station Sub-Inspector Delowar Hossain said: “The Brahmanbaria-bound microbus fell into a roadside ditch around 6am, killing the three dead on spot.”
He said there were 11 people including the driver in the microbus. But somehow rests of the people manage to save themselves.
They were going to Kosba from Dhaka to celebrate the Eid, he said.
The bodies will be sent to Brahmanbaria sadar hosipital, added the SI.
