At least three people have been killed and 15 others injured as a passenger bus fell into a roadside ditch on Banpara Hatikurul Highway near Sutirpar upazila in Natore.
The deceased one was identified as five-year-old Shamsuddin Shizon, son of Shahin Alam, of Rajshahi.
Fuad Lohani, officer-in-charge of Banpara highway police station told the Dhaka Tribune that a Natore-bound passenger bus fell into a roadside ditch when the driver lost control over the steering near Banpara Hatikurul Highway in the afternoon, leaving three people dead on the spot and 15 others injured.
The injured were admitted at Boraigram upazila health complex, Boraigram police station Officer-in-Charge Monirul Islam told the Dhaka Tribune.
