17 cattle traders have fallen sick after taking dinner at Patenga area in Chittagong city on Wednesday night.
They were admitted to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH), said police sources.
Kazi Shahabuddin Ahmed, officer-in-charge (OC) of Patenga Police Station said 17 cattle traders of two groups who came from Chapainababganj district for selling cattle at Patenga cattle market near Katgor temple area fell sick after having dinner around 10:30pm.
Being informed, police whisked the traders off at CMCH, said the OC.
