A 55-kilometre tailback has been created on the Dhaka-Chittagong highway following a road accident in Daudkandi upazila in Comilla.
Mainamati highway police station Officer-in-Charge Sohel Ahmed said a Daulatpur-bound collided head-on with a covered van on Monday night.
He said: “Following the accident, a tailback has been created from Daudkandi to Pudiar Bazar since the morning.”
The vehicles are moving very slowly, he added.
