A youth and his younger sibling were killed as a truck knocked them down in front of the Satkhira upazila parishad building yesterday.
The accident claimed the lives of Mehedi Hasan Tamim, 22, and his sister Towfiqa Jaman Ruhina, 12, children of Abdul Jalil, of Puratan Satkhira area of the district town.
Quoting locals, Sadar police station OC Golam Rahman said the accident took place on a road before the building.
