State Minister of Ministry of Finance and Planning MA Mannan yesterday opined that researches could make a better future for the SAARC region, says a media release issued by East West University (EWU).
The minister made the remarks while addressing the concluding ceremony of a ten-day regional research methods course organised by the SAARC and EWU while the latter’s trustee board chairperson Dr Mohammed Farashuddin chaired the programme.
MA Mannan urged the researchers to find new innovations for effective utilisation of manpower and natural resources of the region.
The speakers said civilization began to march forward through research and the power of innovative capacity was found through research, and that makes human beings different from other animals.
SAARC Documentation Centre (SDC) New Delhi, India in collaboration with East West University arranged the ten day course.
